Our Practice
Families Thrive
Before each visit, parents meet with our case managers to plan the visit. We collaborate with birth parents to identify their goals for the visit, the support they need from us, and the appropriate timing for assistance during the visit. Our case managers help parents practice discipline, communication, and age-appropriate play. After the visit, parents have a debriefing session with the supervising staff to discuss the visit and plan for the next one.
Our Objectives
Families Thrive
Our primary goal is to acknowledge the individual needs and challenges that families face. We provide support to help parents make the most of their time with their children. We offer educational resources to improve parenting skills and encourage parents to remain committed and consistent in their efforts to achieve reunification as quickly as possible. Our approach empowers parents to make positive changes within their families.
Our Approach
Families Thrive
The Coached Visit approach strengthens family units, enabling parents to develop skills and regain custody of their children with confidence. The primary objective is the permanency of children, and through coached visits, families have a greater likelihood of successful reunification. Together, we strive to create strong, loving, and safe families while fostering an empowering environment for parents.
